The main door of Germán Areta's office, when seen from the outside (the corridor), has a peep hole lens on it, but in the scenes it is seen from inside the office it has no peep hole lens, revealing it is not really the same door.
When Germán and Carmen are in a restaurant (minute 54) they talk about the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, there is a camera change as a waiter comes and tells Germán he has a phone call, and Germán is heard answering Carmen but his lips are not moving, he's only looking at Carmen and smiling.
When Areta is shown the dossier about him (1 h. 39 min. into the film), it shows his birth date as 20th January 1938. However, in the first film his birthday is discussed and celebrated a few days before 17th December.
