Plot Summary

This Landmark miniseries centers and covers historic events that include the Bay of Pigs invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the escalation of America's involvement in Vietnam and the violent racial turmoil in the USA. it also explorers the private life of Kennedy, his chronic womanizing, the tragic death of his infant son and the scrutinization by the FBI under the leadership of the obsessive J. Edgar Hoover.
