Barry Bostwick and Persis Khambatta in Megaforce (1982)

Goofs

Megaforce

Edit

Continuity

At the first hologram scene, Dallas says to show it in place of the big rock. When the hologram ends, the big rock disappears.
Just before Hunter jumps his motorcycle over the SUV, Byrne-White and Zara are looking at Hunter's approach out the left window. The next shot shows the SUV parked between two boulders as Hunter jumps over them. The boulder to the left should have blocked their view of Hunter's run.
After the battle, when the plane is taking off, the members of Megaforce are looking out the open rear door. External shots of the plane taking off show the door closed.
When Byrne-White is waiting in the desert, his arm alternates between resting on the top of the car door and not resting on it.
During the final battle, when the transport planes are trying to land, their landing gear position changes from scene to scene.

Factual errors

Silva's character cheats at chess and claims he put his opponent into checkmate. He's actually in check. The queen can capture Silva's knight, which currently has the king in check.
When the tanks fire in the opening scene, there is no recoil on the guns.
The snake that Dallas shoots is a western diamondback rattlesnake. This species is only found in the southwestern United States and Mexico.

Revealing mistakes

During the final battle, when the Megaforce starts launching a barrage of rockets, several contrails show that some of the rockets flew out of control.
When Hunter and Zara are skydiving, during the close up shots it is obvious that neither their hair nor their clothing are being subjected to wind anywhere near as significant to that experienced during real skydiving.
