- A teenage student, Trudi, tries to seduce her environmental studies teacher, Mr. Harris. Her attempts include walking in on him in the shower (his shirtless upper-body is seen), calling him and leaving kissing noises as a message, and sneaking into his apartment while wearing only a bra and panties, all while his five-year-old son is home. Harris is creeped out and annoyed since he already has a girlfriend his own age.
- After being rejected by Harris, Trudi passionately kisses her jock boyfriend, Matt, in the movie theater.
- Harris and Kelly have sex, Kelly's breasts are shown and romantic music plays.
- Two teenagers make out on a bed but one gets up and leaves to go look after her baby sister.
- Kelly's boss tells her that she has a "pretty little ass".

- Caroline (the baby) is dragged off by rats. Her older sister screams and cries and finds a blood-soaked dress at the bottom of the basement stairs. A rat jumps at her and presumably kills her.
- Foskins is eaten by rats, a small amount of blood is shown.
- Several rats are burned alive.
- A karate film is shown in brief scenes playing at a theater, two men kick each other.
- Several people are disemboweled by rats in the theater (it isn't very gory, most is offscreen).
- A girl is trampled to death by frightened people.
- A girl is crushed against a window until the glass breaks and she falls to her death.
- An old professor is chased by rats and eaten alive.
- An employee at a bowling alley is killed by rats. A woman later finds his blood on a bowling ball and says "what the hell is that?"
- Several people in an underground subway tunnel are attacked by rats, small amounts of blood are seen.
- Harris, Kelly and Harris' son are killed, they come back to the terminal on a blood-soaked subway, much to the shock of waiting passengers.
- A cat is killed by rats off-screen.
- An old man falls down a staircase at night and is then dragged away and eaten by rats.
- A teenage boy has his hand bitten by rats, blood is seen and one student remarks "did you see that? Right down to the bone!"
Profanity

- Nothing too serious; the worst of it is the words "hell", "ass", "damn" and two instances of Foskins saying the word "shit".

- It's implied that many of the teenage characters are on pot.
- Teens smoke and drink beer at a party.
- Kelly and Harris share a bottle of wine.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- This film is extremely low-budget but could easily frighten younger viewers.
- The sex scene could offend some viewers.
- The deaths of the main characters are rather violent.
