Robin falls backwards out of a window from the top of the house and she dies. In a following shot of her, her chest is rising and falling.
When Jude answers the phone at her family's residence and the raspy caller says her name, there is a brief flashback of her from six years prior. Jude has noticeably blue eyes, but the younger Jude in the flashback has brown eyes.
Kim is at the kitchen table with her brother Alex. Kim has a necklace on. Kim asks Alex about having a date for the prom and all that is around her neck is a gold chain. The shot then cuts to Alex and then back to Kim and now there is a gold star hanging from her necklace.
After Wendy, Lou, and his two friends arrive at the prom and stand near the entrance, Kim and Nick begin to perform a routine on the dance floor. After Nick lets go of Kim's hand and she is about to start a disco line, the doorway is empty and no one is near it. After Kim and Nick begin dancing side by side again, there is still no one standing near the door. However, in the next scene, the camera returns to a shot of the group still positioned where they walked in watching Kim and Nick again.
At the prom, after Nick and Kim have their dance in the middle of the floor, some classmates start dancing behind Kim in single file. Although the routine is a continuous one, the order of dancers behind Kim alternates from a woman with a metallic ribbon around her neck to a different woman wearing a black dress.
Robin's position by the window doesn't match up with her position just before she falls through the window.
At one point in the movie, the killer tears pictures of Jude, Kelly, Nick, and Wendy out of a high school yearbook. The pictures are then placed in each individual's locker. After Jude and Kelly discover their pictures and hold them up, the backside of each picture is blank (as opposed to what would have appeared on the back of the page in the yearbook).
As the killer respectively tears pictures of Jude, Nick, Wendy, and Kelly from the senior yearbook, it is obvious that the latter three are on consecutive pages, but not Jude. The killer had to tear off the page with Jude's picture and the page behind it to make Nick and Wendy's pictures visible.
When Lou's friend starts wrestling on the ground with Alex in the school cafeteria, his shirt is already torn in the back as they fall to the floor.
As Jude sets off for school and is crossing the road, the front of Seymour's van is visible at the end of the street waiting to pull around the corner.
After visiting his daughter's resting place at the cemetery, Principal Hammond consoles his tearful wife by their late daughter's picture on the fireplace mantel. As he draws her close in an embrace, you can see a fly hovering around Vivian's hair.
When Wendy leaves home to go to school, after she gets into the car and closes the door, the camera and crew are reflected on the car door.
When Nick and his father are walking out through the apartment and talking about who Nick is seeing, they both walk out through the doors where the shadows of the cameraman and the camera are cast on the interior wall and track down it as the camera pulls back.
Kelly gets spooked and heads to the door to check to see if anyone is around. She proceeds to open the front door and the scene quickly cuts to an exterior shot of her looking out the door; right above the door is a black boom microphone.
When Mr. Hammond drives up to the school where his daughter died, the reflection of the microphone is visible in the left side of Mr. Hammond's car.
When Kim is dancing in the empty gym, Wendy shows up to confront her. When the camera is on Kim, the boom mic is visible at the bottom of the screen. Also on the wide reverse on Wendy, the mic is visible at the top of the frame.
In the wide shot after Mrs. Hammond has put the picture of her dead daughter on the mantel and her husband hugs her, the mic is visible in the top of the frame.
When Wendy and Nick are talking in the corridor with the windows about their break-up, the reflection of the boom mic is visible in the upper left.
When Lou's friend and Alex begin fighting in the cafeteria, actress Jamie Lee Curtis accidentally screams actor Michael Tough's name instead of her character's brother's name. She quickly corrects herself and calls him Alex again.
