No effort has been made to conceal the fact that all scenes supposedly taking place in the US and Switzerland (and the "Atlantic island" at the end of the film) were actually shot in the UK. Most obvious are the landscapes and foliage, British accents, right-hand-drive UK-model vehicles with UK license plates (including the LHD Cadillac that No. 1 rides in), UK road markings and vehicles driving on the left side of the road.
While No. 1 called to England, his director stated that it was 4 AM there. This would have made it mid-evening in the USA, but it was clearly midday outside.
