When Procureur Henry Volney examines Nicolas Rosenko's book on Daslow it is very easy to see that each page of the book are identical.

Towards the end of the movie, Procureur Volnay browses a newspaper to find what happened on june 7, 1972. In the upper right corner of the paper is written "Jeudi 7 juin 1972" which means "Thursday June 7, 1972". In 1972, June 7 was a wednesday.

The amateur video sold to Procureur Henry Volney was shot using at least 2 cameras : one for the wide shot of the car in the crowd, and one for a closer shot, at a different angle, of the president being killed.

When the archives of old newspapers are seen, there are headlines about the Socialist Party winning elections in some major Spanish cities. In 1972 Spain was under the regime of Francisco Franco. The Socialist Party was not even legal back then.

The map used to show the path from the garage to the hospital supposed to be done by the ambulance carrying the dead witness is a map of La Défense borough in Paris. Most of all it turns out there never been any garage nor hospital at the indicated points. More of that, the distance they show between these two points is said "15min" but in reality it takes 2min by car and 5min by foot to join.
