Trivia Director Maximilian Schell was editing this film during the filming of the Sci-Fi epic "The Black Hole", in which he starred with Ernest Borgnine and Anthony Perkins, using the editing suite at Walt Disney Studios. When "The Black Hole" Director Gary Nelson flew to Europe to meet Schell and to offer the role of evil scientist 'Dr. Hans Reinhardt' to Schell, Schell accepted the role on the stipulation that he was still able to work on this film, and to use the editing suites at Disney in his spare time. Nelson agreed and Maximilian Schell gave him a big hug and told him he was looking forward to working with him. Max Schell got to play the villain in Disney Studios first ever PG rated feature, and was able to complete the editing of "Tales From the Vienna Woods". See more »
