Throughout the film, there is no daylight nighttime continuity visible. Daytimes are changing without reason, sometimes multiple times in one scene.
The close-up of the blond haired arm, slashed and covered with ants, is clearly not of the smooth skinned Malaysian actor in the long shots it purports to represent.
Immediately after Robert is thrown from the raft hitting a rock, he is shown alone in the water, the raft not visible next to him where it would have been in the field of vision represented by the shot, but reappears floating downstream in the following shot.
When Robert and Rolf are talking after plane driver dies, the shot where the river is seen behind them doesn't match their surroundings
before and after that shot where they are deeper in the jungle and the lighting is different.
When Robert is about to kill a native who is assaulting the native woman, there is a clear discontinuity in the shots before and when he attacks.
The snake that is milked onto the spearhead is clearly from the cobra family. The men claim that this venom will kill in seconds but in actuality the average death from cobra venom can take place up to thirty minutes later.
Boat can be seen on the river when they are flying over the jungle at the start of the movie even though they are saying they can't find anybody alive.
Footage of bat being killed by a snake is clearly outside, so Robert couldn't see it in the cave where he is trapped, even though he is shown supposedly watching it. That makes sense considering it's an archive footage.
When tied cannibal is supposedly cut to attract the ants, he is clearly just being painted with fake blood.
When ants are shown eating supposed hand, it's clearly not blood but something sweet like jam used to attract ants to fake hand.
A cannibal throws a spear, hitting Rolf in the chest, then fails to go to collect his victim.
