Grand Theft Auto (1977)

Goofs

Grand Theft Auto

Continuity

The first time the helicopter attempts to block the road for the Rolls Royce, the helicopter makes the turn twice.
Vivian's sunglasses disappear, for no reason, before Officer Tad tackles her.
While on the outskirts of Vegas a news truck enters the chase. In forward shots there is only the newswoman driving it, from behind she has a male passenger inside with her.
The white foam or water that is sprayed on the window of the Rolls Royce completely disappears minutes after.
When Collins Hedgeworth steals the Dodge Charger (with white seats) he mistakenly backs into the showroom. The inside shot of the shift console shows a blue vinyl console, obviously very old and dirty, with black seats. There is, additionally, some graffiti "smudged" onto the console. This is clearly a shot of a different vehicle than the nice, "like new" Charger represented.

Factual errors

At 10:50, when Marion Ross's character opens the car door to enter and exit her Cadillac Seville, it emits a buzz-type warning. First-generation Sevilles (1975-1979) were the first GM cars to feature a chime-only warnings/reminder system for such alerts as lights left on, keys left in ignition, low fuel, etc. The accurate chime sound can be heard when she attempts to start the engine without success.
