John Ritter, Suzanne Somers, and Joyce DeWitt in Three's Company (1976)

Goofs

Three's Company

Edit

Continuity

In early seasons, when scenes called for filming outside the door of the trio's apartment, it is clearly seen that the walkway dead-ends at their apartment. However in the final season, when episodes centered on new neighbors next door, the walkway shows it continues on.
The doorbell on the trio's apartment mostly was shown to be on the left, when facing the door, but occasionally for plot points it appeared on the right. Similarly as well the doorbell chime box inside the apartment originally was above the kitchen and later seasons it was over the front door.
In the show's final seasons a grouped mailbox in the wall right outside of Mr. Furley's apartment. In earlier seasons, and even after airings of episodes that show the mailbox, there is no mailbox and only the wall is there.

Plot holes

Jack has an older brother named Lee. Yet two years before when his uncle comes to visit and calls Jack his favorite nephew, Jack says he's his only nephew to which his uncle says "That never stopped you from being my favorite."

Character error

In Eleanor's Return (1978), Larry says he served four years in the United States Marine Corps, whose recruit training includes combat training including hand to hand combat. Also, given his age, it's likely he served in Vietnam. So, even if he served in a non-combat role he would have, at least, intermediate self defense skills. However, in several episodes like Dying to Meet You (1981) and Urban Plowboy (1982) Larry seems either afraid to fight or unable to fight.
