During a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, promoting his latest film, Chinese Zodiac (which he wrote, directed and stars in), Jackie Chan revealed that he might soon be reuniting with his Rush Hour co-star Chris Tucker, in an buddy-action-comedy tentatively titled Skip Tracer. You thought I was going to say Rush Hour 4, didn't you? Not quite, although, per the THR piece, Chan says that it'll be along the same lines. He didn't give plot details, but did add that Chris Tucker has the script and is reading it, so it's not a done deal yet, because Chris still has to Ok it, and attach himself to it as well. But it's kind of inevitable that any similar...

1.) Ricky Gervais is in talks for the lead human role in Disney's Muppets sequel. Director James Bobin and writer Nicholas Stoller return from the 2011 hit, while "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell has already signed on to play a lazy Interpol inspector in the film. The film starts production next month and is said to be a European caper of sorts, but plot details are being kept under wraps. We do know we should expect at least one more casting notice, as there is a big Russian femme fatale role that hasn't yet been cast. Oddly enough, Gervais shot a cameo for the first movie that didn't make the final cut. I'd say things worked out well enough for him though. Heat Vision 2.) With the script for The Expendables 3 currently in the works, Jackie Chan has confirmed he will have a role in the film. "Sly had invited me to be...

Since "The Expendables 2" grossed over $300 million globally, Lionsgate will likely want a third installment. There have been talks of Nicolas Cage, Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood joining the new movie, but those were all rumors. Now comes word directly from Jackie Chan that Sylvester Stallone asked him to be in "The Expendables 3." "Sly had invited me to be in 'Expendables 2,' but I was too busy filming 'CZ12' and couldn't make a commitment to the film," said the actor. "But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes." Chan also said that he will soon begin work on "Skip Tracer," a new movie that co-stars Chris Tucker. "The script is currently [being read] by Chris Tucker," he revealed. Legendary action star Jackie Chan has spoke to a press conference in Kuala Lumpur to promote his latest action blockbuster Chinese Zodiac, aka CZ12 where he revealed he would be boarding The Expendables 3.
Sylvester Stallone has been chasing Chan since The Expendables 2 that he almost made it into the last film:
Sly had invited me to be in Expendables 2 but I was too busy filming CZ12 and couldn’t make a commitment to the film. But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes.
Chan also stated the possibility of making The Expendables 3 as a ‘buddy-buddy movie’ – like a buddy movie, but with even more friendship. Chan said that Stallone seemed open to the idea.

Sylvester Stallone‘s retro action franchise The Expendables has seemingly won fans over, what with the recent success of the second film in the series, The Expendables 2, and a further entry, The Expendables 3: More Expendabler in the works. And though the first films in the franchise have had their fair share of kung-fu action with Jet Li in the midst of things, Stallone has often spoken about getting China’s most famous film star involved: Jackie Chan.
Though he couldn’t make room in his schedule for an appearance in The Expendables 2, Chan has reportedly signed on to read his lines poorly for a third installment, albeit that he gets to do more than just make a cameo. Yes, the box-office superstar – who has made a Hollywood career out of comical kung-fu flicks which pair him with Americans and exist to politely ridicule racial differences – spoke...

Sylvester Stallone’s “Expendable” franchise has included the top-tier of action heroes from the ‘80s to the ‘90s. It is almost a final tribute for those who have worked within that timeframe, making the most memorable of action movies. Some stars have seemed to be left out, but if so, not for long.
Jackie Chan will be the newest asset to the testosterone-fueled nostalgic series of action films. Chan has been recently promoting his newest film, “CZ12.”
Chan says:

The one stipulation for Chan is the movie must have a sort of buddy movie vibe.

We're going to eventually see a third Expendables film, and when we do we're going to see some new actors join in on the fun. It looks like one of those actors will be Jackie Chan! Of course it makes sense that Chan joins this group of action stars! Chan revealed the news himself at a press conference for his new film CZ12,
Sly had invited me to be in 'Expendables 2' but I was too busy filming 'CZ12' and couldn't make a commitment to the film. But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes.
I think that's fair. If Chan's in the movie give him a really cool part to play! Chan also said that he told Stallone that he hoped the third installment...

With the release of Jackie Chan's latest film Chinese Zodiac (aka CZ12 aka Armour of God III) in China last week, the aging action star has been doing the press circuit over there and fielding some questions about potential upcoming projects. Although this movie was supposed to mark his retirement from full-blown action roles, it is already looking like that won't be the case. Speaking at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, Chan revealed that he will likely be taking part in a couple of big Hollywood action films, one of which is The Expendables 3. He is also working on another project that could end up being a new Rush Hour film, although as of right now it is going under the working title Skip Tracer. Here's what he had to say about these projects: "Sly had invited me to be in [The] Expendables 2 but I was too busy filming...
