Strictly routine

ENTER THE PANTHER is your usual cheap and undistinguished kung fu title from Taiwan. Bruce Lee impersonator Bruce Li plays the usual young heroic figure out on a path of revenge after his father is murdered; the plot follows his journey as he takes down the criminal gang responsible. This is a film with plentiful action; the only problem is that all of it is strictly routine, and you can tell that the movie was shot in a hurry with a minimum of effort. Shaw Brothers regular Chiang Tao plays one of his staple roles as a villain, while Li himself is on autopilot.
