Gene Hackman in Night Moves (1975)

Goofs

Night Moves

Edit

Continuity

Delly appears wearing Harry's blue shirt and leans over him with multiple buttons undone revealing underage cleavage. In the following shot, it is buttoned back up.

Factual errors

Harry tells Joey that his team lost a "Pro Bowl" (presumably talking about the AFL equivalent), but that particular year's game was won by the Western Conference, which Harry, as a Raiders player, would have been on.
Harry says the Raiders were on the way to San Diego for a game when JKF was shot, but the Raiders scheduled game that weekend was at home against Houston.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Harry rents a car when he is in Florida. When the car is filmed from the front or the back, the car has a rear-view mirror. When the car is filmed from the side, the rear-view mirror is missing.

This is not a Goof; it is a commonly used filming technique to enhance the viewers' experience.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Quentin (James Woods) takes off from his place on his motorcycle after Harry (Gene Hackman) confronts him about the car accident on the movie set, the engine sound that is heard is that of a large four-stroke motorcycle engine, but his motorcycle is a mid-late 1960s Yamaha 250 scrambler, a small-displacement two-stroke twin.

Plot holes

A considerable amount of time had passed between when Harry brought Delly home and when he had Paula return to the crash site to retrieve some of the treasure. It makes no sense that Tom and Paula wouldn't have already retrieved the treasure.
