When Trudel puts her arms around Karl during the boat trip, her arms' positions change between shots.

At the beginning of the film, spring 1940, the janitor makes fun of an old Jewish woman who wears the yellow badge ("Judenstern"). The wearing of the yellow badge was not ordered until autumn 1941.
