Due to injuries sustained in an accident during the production of this movie, George Memmoli had to decline the part of the disturbed passenger in Taxi Driver (1976) that was ultimately played by the film's director, Martin Scorsese. According to Scorsese, the injuries contributed to Memmoli's death in 1985.
Angel Tompkins, who portrayed Betty, picked-out her own outfits with the wardrobe person. She also designed the apron that she wears in the closing scene as well as the period underwear that she wears in the movie.
Eric Weston, who portrayed Lopie, received an 'introducing' credit. This is despite the fact he had played Toke in Walk the Walk (1970) about seven year earlier.
The movie was never released on DVD and likely never, if ever, shown on cable television. It was considered a "lost" movie by some. Finally the film became available on a legitimate Blu-ray release from Scorpion Releasing as of February 2022.
