Celebrities & their spouses, playing for sections of the studio audience, try to match answers to questions about their personal lives.

Three celebrity couples were panelists. First, either the wives or husbands would go offstage and wear headphones; their spouses would remain on stage. Via closed circuit TV, the sequestered spouses would be asked a question about marriage, sex, or other embarrassing questions, then be left to ponder it. Their on-stage spouse would then answer how they thought their spouse would reply. One by one, they were asked their answer. After all three answered, the ones who got it right won a share of $150. After two questions, the spouses changed places for two more questions, the last being a $300 question. At the end, the couple with the most money won an extra $1000. This pot was then split amongst the third of the studio audience in front of them: red, yellow (banana), or blue.—Tony B

The 1st Edition of "Tattletales" is a remake of "He Said, She Said (1969-1970)" for the 1st 4 months (February 18-June 10, 1974) are hitting their buttons to answer the questions and there's clues attached to it. The Husband/Wife (fiance/fiancee or Boyfriend/Girlfriend) will choose either one-word clue (worth $100) or two-word clues (worth $50) and there's another segment "Tattletale Quickie" (worth $100). Midway through the show, they change places and the couple had the largest amount of cash wins an extra $1000. From June 11, 1974 to March 31, 1978, The Format changed to 'Quickies' and eventually became The Series of "TATTLETALES' QUESTIONS" and used for little cash jackpots (money stakes) to the 3 rooting sections in the studio audience at CBS Television City in Hollywood, CA, USA. The 1st 3 questions are worth $150 and the 4th & Last question worth $300 and the couple has the largest amount of cash wins $1000 otherwise there'll be 2 winners get the 1/2 of the bonus cash reward of $500 or All 3 winners get the 1/3 of the bonus cash reward for the fairly amount of $334 to their 3 divided rooting sections by the separate prime colors are Red, Yellow (Banana) & Blue (February 18-June 10, 1974, The Announcer says at opening "Rooting Section(s) Number(s) 1, 2 & 3.")—Benjamin Hallums <benhallums1@hotmail.com>
