Divine in Pink Flamingos (1972)

Goofs

Pink Flamingos

Edit

Continuity

Throughout the film, the Marbles deliriously talk about their scheme to ruin Divine and seize her title of "Filthiest Person Alive". They refer to the attacks as a series of "phases": Phase 1 is the sending of the obscene parcel; Phase 3 is when Connie and Raymond call the police about Divine's wild birthday party. But there is no Phase 2.

Revealing mistakes

After Connie and Raymond burn Divine's trailer and return to their house, when the door is open, Divine can be heard talking to John Waters.

Crew or equipment visible

During a tracking shot along a sidewalk, the window frame of the camera car enters the shot.
When Cookie makes her phone call to the Marbles, there is a clear shadow of the crew as someone on the set moves around.
When the Marbles drive through a park about an hour in, the shadow of camera operator John Waters is visible as they drive by.
A cameraman's shadow is visible as Divine and her friends eat the police officer.
