Barry Newman is taken from shore to a short distance from an oil rig. Donning scuba gear he swims to the rig, climbs aboard , hides the oxygen tank, mask and flippers and starts to explore. He hears 2 workmen talking as they approach the walkway and climbs over the side to hide but his hood is now up on his head then back down when he enters a cabin area.
At 1':10" as the helicopter comes in to land on the higher landing pad there is another chopper on the lower pad. We cut away to a tight shot, and cut back to the landing - but the helicopter in the background has disappeared.
After going through the road block, Talbot is chased by two police cars. One of them draws level and gestures him to slow down which he acknowledges and the police car continues to pass him. Talbot then makes a right hand turn down a dirt track. The next shot shows the police car far enough behind Talbot to follow him down the lane.
