When the film received its premiere in Plymouth, it was reported that the local extras were so busy pointing themselves out, that no-one could hear the film.
The dwarf (Rusty Goffe) was learning the bagpipes during the making of the film, and used to wake the cast and crew early in the morning with his practising.
