At end of the film, Stan climbs into a bus registered WN0 476. When he drives out of the depot, the bus has become VNO 857.
The positions of the women drivers eating in the canteen changes between shots.
As Vera (Pat Coombs) walks towards the cab after Stan puts the spiders in it, she is wearing calf-length boots. In the next shot, when she is feeling the spiders on her legs, she is wearing shoes.
When the bus pulls away on the motorway after Blakey gets a ticking off from the motorcycle cop, the left hand side of the bus displays a poster saying 'Whitbread Tankard: cool, clear, refreshing.' When it pulls in to the depot, 2 hours late, the left hand side of the bus displays a poster for 'KP nuts: more protein than eggs', although the number plate on the back is the same as the one at the front when it was on the motorway.
At the start of the film, Stan and Jack are ticked off by Blakey for being late leaving the terminus. Almost as soon as Stan walks off-camera, Jack rings the bell and the bus moves off. Stan could not possibly have got back into the cab in time to drive the bus away.
When Stan is taking his driving test at the London Transport testing facility, he closes the blind behind him inside the driver's cab. When Blakey realises Stan is driving away on the test with himself still on the bus, he rushes to the driver's cab from inside the bus and is able to lift the blind from the outside of the window when the the blind is inside.
When Olive is too heavy for the sidecar, the rear motorcycle wheel lifts up. The combination would not have tipped up as Olive was sitting over the side wheel and as there are only three wheels in total, there is no other way in which it could have tipped.
When Blakey confronts Jack outside the turnaround house he asks him if he was using "the lady's facilities", yet he did not see anyone exit the house other than Jack so he could not have known that the occupant of the house was a woman.
During the closing credits when Stan is driving his bus down the road, a car overtakes him with an 'L' plate on the front. A driving instructor would not get a learner driver to overtake any vehicle.
When Blakey is thrown off the bus while Stan is performing the skid, he slides on the tarmac up to the insurance assessor. As he does so, the wheels on the trolley he is sliding on is visible under his coat as he stops.
When the sidecar separates from the motorcycle, the extra wheel that allows it to keep going can be seen.
When the policeman on the motorway orders the bus to drive on, he says the next intersection is 20 miles away. The M1 sign reveals Luton. However the next junction is 4 miles away, near Watford.
Additional Note: This may be correct when this comment was added, however in 1971 when film was made it was factually correct in next junction being 20 miles, as the M1 was brand new and had limited junctions.

When Stan is putting Olive's diuretic pills in the female drivers' cups of tea, he misses one cup, he putting two pills in the cup on the bottom left, and misses the cup on the bottom right of the screen.
