Peter Sellers and Sinéad Cusack in Hoffman (1970)

Goofs

Hoffman

Edit

Continuity

When Janet Smith is in bed, her left pajama leg is fully extended, yet when she has gotten out of bed, it is pushed all the way up.
When Hoffman and Janet Smith are having dinner in the apartment, there is a salad bowl immediately off Hoffman's right wrist in the camera shot to his face. Hoffman reaches for the wine, has both hands occupied and when the camera angle shifts to over his shoulder, the salad bowl has moved to the place mat between them which was empty in the previous camera angle.

Factual errors

The opening credits wrongly spell singer Matt Monro's name as Monroe.
Matt Monro's name is miss-spelled on the opening credits as he sings the song 'If there ever is a next Time'

Miscellaneous

In one scene, Hoffman mentions that is October 3rd. The following morning, when his alarm is going off at 6am, the room is illuminated by sunlight coming in through the window. However, in London in the first week of October, 6am is over an hour before sunrise.
