The uniform stolen from a much shorter and stouter soldier fits Antonio perfectly.
The two water-cooled machine guns (which were overtaken by Mexican banditas) defending General Pershing cannons appear to be Colt/Vickers model 1915. The movie is set in 1912. These machine guns were not used by the US Army during this campaign along the Mexico border.
