On arriving in China, Dr Hathaway is greeted with an enthusiastic crowd waving flags and holding banners. One banner reads *Welcome Dr. Hathawy*.
As John Hathaway is making his escape from China, he's seen driving a British army scout car.
Hathaway tells Shelby he is flying to Chengtu, and a map is shown of the purported location of Chengtu. Chengtu is the former romanization of Chengdu, which is in Sichuan, but the map shows Henan province, about 600 miles away. The location marked on the map appears to be that of Luoyang.
