Where Angels Go Trouble Follows! (1968)

Goofs

Where Angels Go Trouble Follows!

Edit

Continuity

Before leaving Mr. Farriday's ranch, the school bus is set with a prominent display of a bull's horns mounted on the front of the bus. A following scene as the bus is about to go over a bridge clearly shows the bull horns missing from the front of the bus. Soon after when the bus has stopped for unexpected detour signs, the horns are again seen on the front of the bus.
This is supposed to be a follow up to The Trouble with Angels (1966) that starred Hayley Mills However, there's a few problems with it. Mary Clancy (Mills) stayed on after she graduated to become a nun in their order. However, there's no mention of her now. I suppose she could have changed her mind later and left or perhaps was sent to another calling like the one that nun was to work with lepers. And then there's the problematic Marvel Ann (played by Barbara Hunter in both films). Shouldn't she have graduated too? Perhaps she was a year or two younger then Mary Clancy? All in all, still good times watching these films.

Revealing mistakes

The exterior shots of the school were filmed at St. Mary's Home, an orphanage, in Ambler, Pennsylvania. In the beginning of the film when the nuns come out of the school to meet Sister George, who is getting off a truck from a protest, the St. Mary's mat is clearly visible in front of the doors.

Miscellaneous

In the very last scene, as Reverend Mother and Sister George are walking from the chapel back to the main building in their stylish new modern habits, there's another nun walking in the far background to the right of the main building still wearing the old habit. Must not have had enough new ones to go around to outfit all the Sisters.

Errors in geography

When the school bus gets stuck on the railroad tracks, they are still in Pennsylvania. The train that passes on the tracks is a Santa Fe passenger train. Santa Fe passenger trains would not have run in Pennsylvania.
