Goofs

Viy

Edit

Continuity

While stopping at the inn for food and vodka (on the way to Sotnik's village) the horses are taken off the carriage, fed and watered too, but in between the shots of the horses, firstly, being watered and then fed, we still see them attached to the carriage between shots.
During the third night of the vigil, Khoma's hair colour changes between shots.

Revealing mistakes

When Khoma draws a chalk circle on the church floor for the first time, traces of previous circles are still visible on the floorboards.
When the witch/girl first steps out of her coffin she is barefoot but as she walks across the room, she has on ballet slippers.
The first time Khorma inscribes a sacred chalk circle on the church floor, it is possible to see a partially erased circle already present, possible left over from previous takes of the scene.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

In scene, when Pannochka tries to across "saint circle" you can see, that an actress rests to glass (her palms touching surface). At the same time Khoma mirroring in glass.
