The islanders in the pub turn off all the lights so as not to attract the aliens. In the next scene the lights are on.
At the beginning of the movie, Godfrey removes an all black camera from the tripod and examines it. When he puts it back on the tripod, it is a silver body camera.
Hanson, a Scientist, observes that The Earth will become a planet like many "others in the Constellation". In fact, a Constellation is a group of stars, not planets.
Hanson, the scientist, says scorching was caused by "high frequency heat". Heat, by definition infra-red, is low frequency with visible, ultraviolet, x-rays and gamma rays having higher frequency. Only radio waves have a lower frequency.
Near the start when Angela first arrives at the pub the sky is black looking as if it would rain at any moment. In the next shot as she gets out of the car the sky is blue.
The doctor is burned up by the aliens but his walkie-talkie is undamaged. Also, the aliens supposedly drain every drop of energy but the walkie-talkie battery is still charged.
Callum breaks down the door, causing the film Hanson's developing to be ruined, much to the latter's anger. This could have been easily prevented by Hanson telling Callum what he was doing.
