The Million Eyes of Sumuru (1967)

Goofs

The Million Eyes of Sumuru

Edit

Continuity

You can tell that the scene outside of the bar at the beginning of the movie was shot first before the the inside:

At 10:30 minutes, when Nick West (George Nader) is introduced to Colonel Medika (Jon Fong) by Colonel Baisbrook (Wilfrid Hyde-White) inside the bar, Medika has a large, very noticeable black and blue bruise above his left eye/forehead.

10:20 minutes: A couple of minutes later, outside the bar before he's attacked, Medika's bruise is missing. He must have accidentally gained it during the scuffle, and then they shot the interior scenes.

Character error

Near the end of the movie when Tommy, Nick and the police begin leaving the island, George Nader refers to "Sumuru" as "Zawru" and Frankie Avalon a few seconds later flubs his line and says, "Helga says there's enough explosive in there to make this volcano into an island" tossing his hands up mimicking an explosion. About 30 seconds later the scene cuts to the island exploding like a volcano.
