Frankenstein Created Woman (1967)

Goofs

Frankenstein Created Woman

Edit

Continuity

The guillotine blade kept changing shape.
Anton breaks his cane striking Hans during the fight in the cafe. However, when he is serenading Christina beneath her window, the cane is whole again.

Factual errors

Several times there is a hotel sign visible: "Zum goldenen Kompas". There is no such word " Kompas" in german language. It must be written Kompaß, according to the spelling rules at the time. Or as in Swiss german spelling : Kompass.

Revealing mistakes

When Baron Frankenstein is removed from his cryogenic frozen state, his assistant Dr. Hertz (Thorley Walters) easily moves his arms away from his chest, even though they should be frozen in place until thawed out.
When Hans fights the three men in the bar near the beginning of the film, the walking cane that he gets struck with across his back flexes upon impact indicating that it is a prop quite obviously made of rubber.

Anachronisms

When Christina meets Anton she is wearing white nail varnish, all the rage in the swinging 60's but not in the 19th century in which the Film is set.
