Dr Beecham opens the left side door of a double door to enter the mess with Marie and they are shown entering on the left from outside. The interior shot shows them entering the mess from the opposite door, the exterior right-side door.
At the end of the film when the island is being bombed, the obviously stock footage of the planes uses at least four different kinds of aircraft.
Bob Spaulding refers to Ensign Chandler as Lieutenant Chandler.
The airplane heading to the island is a C-47 Skytrain, the military version of the civilian DC-3. The film of the plane crash-landing on the runway is that of a C-46 Commando.
