Cul-de-sac (1966)

Goofs

Cul-de-sac

Edit

Continuity

The record with the Cul-de-sac theme that Nicolas scratched is different from the one Teresa later plays and jumps.
The position of the mattress on the patio changes position between scenes, especially when Teresa places the paper between Dickie's toes and lights them.
When Teresa is eating cornflakes and George is throwing egg in the air, discontinuity is apparent, because while he is passing by her, she is shown grabbing the cornflakes, but in the very next shot, she is putting them in her mouth.
The water level and the position of the car changes between shots when Dickie takes George and Teresa to push the car onto the island.
When Teresa pulls the George closer to mirror, discontinuity is apparent, because their positions changes between 2 continuous shots.

Revealing mistakes

When Richard shoots the Thompson, nothing happens, but when shots are over, holes appear on the car, revealing that no real bullets were fired.

Crew or equipment visible

When Dickie is pushing the car, the shadow of the camera and the cameraman can be seen on him.
