When Cassie enters the house for the first time, she unlocks the door, and leaves the key in the lock while she retrieves her two suitcases, one at a time. The next shot shows her going through the door from the inside with the second suitcase then closing the door, then shows the key in her hand with the second suitcase, while she is never seen taking the key out of the lock in the door.
When Big Mike first is seen behind the bar, his cigar is very long. When he goes to wake up Buzz, the cigar is about half its previous length.
When Cassie Duquesne first enters her father's house, the shadow of the camera can be seen to her left on the wall.
The boom mic is visible when Melinda is showing the new housekeeper Ramona around. They look in a room and walk back, and a clear, dark shadow of the boom microphone is visible in the upper right of the frame.
Cassie opens the front door of her father's home and leaves the keys in the door. She screams after being frightened by a prank, and Val runs to her aid, but he too leaves the keys in the door.
When serving breakfast to Cassie the first morning in the Duquesne house, Val picks up a cast iron skillet from the stove with his bare left hand but uses a pot holder to lift a coffee pot with his right hand which has a black plastic handle.
When Val says, "Twenty years ago, this man was at the height of his career", he mispronounces the word 'height' by using the 'th' sound as is pronounced in 'width'.
