Jerry Lewis and Susan Oliver in The Disorderly Orderly (1964)

Goofs

The Disorderly Orderly

Edit

Factual errors

Jerome spills a can of red paint off of the scaffolding onto Tuffington below, who then stands up through the sunroof to rage at him. Although Tuffington is covered in paint there is not a drop on the car. This would be because it's a vintage Rolls-Royce that was on loan or rented to the production by an individual who's contract would state that the automobile not be compromised in any way.

Revealing mistakes

When Jerome and Julie go out to dinner for spaghetti, he has a plate and she does not. When he finishes twirling the spaghetti into a big pile, her plate "magically" appears.
When Jerome is loading the laundry onto the cart, he throws a bag and it goes over the cart and hits the wall on the other side. When the laundry hits the wall and door, the door and the entire wall shake revealing that it is obviously fake.
When Jerome is wrapping the patient with tape, the assisting nurse looks directly at the camera twice.

Anachronisms

The tune Jerome plays on the spaghetti restaurant jukebox was written in 1955--when Jerome would have been in his mid-to-late 20s--yet Jerome says his father sang it to him when he was a child.

Crew or equipment visible

After Jerome falls into the laundry chute, a clear silhouette of a crew member is visible inside.
When Jerome is chasing the patient with the full-body cast, you can see the string attached to the cast that is pulling it down the hill.
