The newspaper picture of Frank jumping off the riverboat does not match the actual scene of Frank jumping off.
Frank complains about his daughter's letter, stating that he hadn't experienced so many cliffhangers since "The Hitchcock Show" was moved to his bowling night. Neither of Hitchcock's TV series employed cliffhangers.
Upon arrival in Paris, Mr Michaelson is referred to by the policeman who is assisting him with his taxi as "Mr Stewart" - twice in English and at least once in French. However, this is a running gag that the character looks like Jimmy Stewart.
