Throughout ER history there have been the standout episodes and this one rates high.

The shock of the chemical spill which sends the ER in to panic mode. The scene with the man caught under the building and then having Doug and Hathaway caught in the elevator with a critical child who's oxygen is running out. Wow I was on the edge. Good job all around and cinema level work.

Warning: Spoilers
An episode with a lot of disasters that get handled very well. My favorite part is Elizabeth going on a ride along and ending up in a pretty hard situation when a building collapses. She ends up saving the man's life risking her own. This was pretty thrilling and I must say they filmed it so well. I had trouble looking sometimes because I started to feel claustrophobic just from it on the screen.

Another problem arises in the ER when it gets infected by fumes and Carter has to take control over it once Dr. Weaver passes out. He ends up doing a great job. This is one of the moments when carter develops into a more confident doctor I assume. Watching it I was remembering him as the new intern coming to the hospital and being overwhelmed, now what a big way he has gone!
