Varan the Unbelievable (1962)

Goofs

Varan the Unbelievable

Edit

Continuity

At 31:18, the jeep carrying Cdr. Bradley skips forward several feet due to poor editing.
At 31:33 the jeep again jumps forward several feet due to an editing error, then again at 31:47.

Factual errors

The Japanese tanks used have standard Western (Arabic) numbers on them, rather than Sino-Japanese or Native Japanese numbering systems.

Anachronisms

The same scenes with the Radio Operator (saying the same thing,) and the Army firing bazookas etc... at the monster are reused multiple times. During the attack on the monster while it is in the water, the same tree is struck several times in different uses of the same scene. That "tree" was not harmed in the making of this movie.

At approximately 40:40 through 43:00 the monster is walking around in the dark, yet the aircraft are shown being in the light, and Cdr. Bradley walks out of the cave into the light.
