Plot Summary

Marisol is a girl with a kind heart and an overflowing imagination. One day she witnesses in a museum the theft and replacement by a forgery of a famous painting, "The Madonna of the Roses". At first nobody believes her, but finally they realize she was telling the truth (for once). The head of the trio of thieves, Pepe, is an old ventriloquist artistically known as "Joe Carter." When Marisol appears on television threatening to give them away if they do not return the painting, they decide to kidnap her. But what they don't know is that deep down they are good people. Did You Know?

Edit
Trivia Her character is supposed to be a 10-12 year old girl, but Marisol was already 14 and looked more like a young woman than a little girl, so the producers decided to compress her breast with a bandage under her clothes to make her look younger. See more »

Quotes [a tank passes by in front of Marisol and María Belén]
Marisol: Look! Look! Can you see that, with so many little wheels spinning around?
María Belén: [unconcerned] That is... a tank.
Marisol: And you say it so calmly? Don't you know who's inside?
María Belén: What kind of fantasy are you making up?
Marisol: That tank is no fantasy! That tank is flesh and bone!
María Belén: What?
Marisol: Okay, iron and screw.
