Black Sunday (1960)

Goofs

Black Sunday

Edit

Continuity

In the scene where Princess Asa pauses by her father's coffin, she is wearing black stockings and shoes under her dress. She then leaves the room to look for the others and is seen running down the hall barefoot and without stockings.
When Katya runs down the passage after finding Ivan's body she knocks over a suit of armor. When Alex runs down the same hall a little later, the armor is back on its stand.
When doctor Kruvajan starts lowering his head to kiss the witch, she closes her eyes, but in the very next shot of them, they are open.

Revealing mistakes

When the kids and the girl find Boris dead, he is obviously moving while being dead.
Obvious fake skin for the branding scene.

Miscellaneous

In the opening credits, Barbara Steele's name is misspelled as Barbara Steel.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Katia plays the piano, her fingerings don't match the piano music on the soundtrack.

Plot holes

Andre and the priest struggle to open the graveyard gate, when they could have just gotten in by the barn where there was no fence.
