Last Woman on Earth (1960)

Goofs

Last Woman on Earth

Edit

Continuity

Evelyn's hair changes from blonde to brunette and back over the course of the movie.
It is not the same actress in the bar scene. It's not just the darker hair. The jawline is different, the eyebrows are different, the nose is different, and her voice is different. They are strikingly similar but not the same woman.
Despite the fact that all oxygen was supposed to have run out, two birds can clearly be seen flying past when the three survivors first go down to the beach.
While Evelyn is talking with her husband Harold at the bar, as the camera angle changes, her dress shoulder straps alternate between on and off her shoulders.
At 34:00 into the movie Harold is talking with Martin and Evelyn at dinner. After Harold cuts his meat and puts the knife down onto the plate, the next camera shot shows both of Harold's arms in a completely different position when he turns to talk to Evelyn.

Revealing mistakes

The first dead girl the main characters find moves her arm as they walk away from her.

Miscellaneous

When they go into the city after the incident, a car is seen coming to a halt in front of them due to the curb stopping it. In a proceeding shot, the car's tires are seen on the sidewalk instead of directly in front of it.

Character error

After he crashes the car, Martin gets out and looks at the right front wheel. He says it is bent sideways. In the prior scene, when the crash was shown and the car stopped on the bank, the wheel was not sideways, but still at an angle where it would have been controlled by the steering wheel, which had been turned right to make the car go onto the bank.
