The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1960)

Goofs

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Edit

Continuity

When Huckleberry catches up with Joe on his new raft, and jumps onto the pier, the water level is very low. Minutes later, when they head for the pier, the pier is almost submerged. Then, in the next shot, the water level is a bit lower.
At the end of the movie when Huck gets back to the raft after speaking to Jim for the last time, the raft is tied to the pier with rope. Huck didn't tie the raft to the pier when he jumped off the raft to go to Jim.

Revealing mistakes

The buildings in on the river in Hannibal are the same ones seen when they get to Pikeville. A large red brick building with a widows watch on the roof.

Miscellaneous

The first two times Huck has worn shoes, they've squeaked. When he's serving as a cabin boy, they don't.

Anachronisms

Just before Huck and Jim jump off the riverboat, Huck puts on his pants. We hear a "snap" as he snaps his pants. He then zips up his zipper. Neither snap fasteners or zippers were in use at the time (1851).
