William Frawley, Don Grady, Stanley Livingston, and Fred MacMurray in My Three Sons (1960)

Continuity

Frequent Continuity Errors. Due to the 'out of sequence' way they were making the show, there's sometimes evidence that scenes in any episode were filmed months apart and edited together, looking like it's set in a very short time.
During William Frawley's time on the series, his name was inconsistent. His last name was always O'Casey, but he was sometimes introduced as Michael Francis O'Casey and, at other times, such as in "What's Cooking?", as William Francis O'Casey.

Character error

In The Masterpiece (1962), which aired on March 1, 1962, Bub, played by William Frawley, claimed to be 63; Frawley was 75 at the time.

In The Practical Shower (1964), aired on October 1, 1964, Bub gives Sally a wedding shower on his 50th anniversary, meaning that he was married in 1914.

Using his age from "The Masterpiece," Bub got married when he was 15.
