Virginia Aldridge, Scott Marlowe, and Dorothy Provine in Riot in Juvenile Prison (1959)

Goofs

Riot in Juvenile Prison

Edit

Continuity

After Dr. Furman interviews Eddie for the first time, he picks up a folder off his desk and opens it. However in the next close-up shot of what he's holding, the folder disappears and Furman is holding a single piece of paper - Eddie's medical record. In the following shot, the folder reappears.

Factual errors

The ammunition seen in the desk drawer is predominately boxes of .38-55 Winchester, which is a rifle cartridge. There is a box or two of .45 caliber cartridges, but they are unlikely to be for the police-type revolvers that are stolen - the only weapons Eddie grabs during his first breakout attempt.

Revealing mistakes

On Eddie's medical form that Dr. Furman looks at, there are two lines each for "name" and "age".

Miscellaneous

After the guns are so easily stolen form Walton's office the first time, nothing is done to further secure the over-abundance of firearms as they are still behind flimsy wooden cabinet door frames with easily torn-away mesh and locks that would barely secure a filing cabinet.

Boom mic visible

Just before the governor grabs the PA microphone, a clear, moving shadow of the boom microphone is visible on the guard shack inside the front gate.
