Sex & Nudity

  • A pin-up girl poster is shown in the background of a scene. Bare legs and back are shown, but no nudity.
  • A brief scene of a few people discussing prostitution. Nothing overtly sexual is discussed.
  • Scene of the holocaust are shown, which at times shown nude people/bodies. These are generally shown in a way to obstruct any overt nudity, but brief glimpses of nudity may be visible at times.

Violence & Gore

  • The first part of the movie takes place during WWII, and at times shows actual footage from the war. This mainly shows explosions and the destruction of German cities and the impact its aftermath had on the people living there. There is hardly any gore, although mild war time injuries are shown at times.
  • Aside from the actual fighting from WW2 at the beginning, there are several scenes throughout the movie of violence, mostly only limited to two people.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are several depictions shown of the humanitarian aftermath of WW2 shown through actual footage from the war. Footage from the Nuremberg trials is also shown. This includes somewhat graphic visual/oral descriptions of the holocaust. These scenes can be very intense, especially with the context of the rest of the movie.
  • Nazi symbolism is shown throughout, but is not at all glorified.
