If you like films where police officers in their thirties fall in love with teenagers and people cover their faces with shoe polish to impersonate black people, then this film is for you.

Slightly retarded police officer and spare time actor Alfred Erlandsson (played by Martin Jung) falls in love with seventeen year old dancer Linda Svensson (Marianne Bengtsson), but is to shy to tell her. Mrs Svensson is discovered and moves to the big city. Will Erlandsson get her back?

I do not know if this film was ever very funny, but if it was, it has not aged very well. If you like films where police officers in their thirties fall in love with teenagers and people cover their faces with shoe polish to impersonate black people, then this film is for you. Otherwise, stay well clear. Also, Povel Ramel makes an unwelcome appearance as a viking near the end.
