While taking a bath at the country house, Lt. Loren is shown washing her hair, with her hair completely wet. A short time later she is shown out of the tub, but her hair is perfectly dry, and beautifully coiffed, including there being curls.
It's simply beyond absurd that a bunch of grown men and women--including a doctor--could believe that a woman who had sex in the afternoon would then become noticeably pregnant that very evening. Even farce must have some sort of logic.
At one point, Corporal Hodges salutes an officer while he (Hodges) is not wearing his head covering. One does not salute "uncovered"; one merely comes to attention.
Collins is far too clumsy and foolish to be believable as an Army Major.
