COMMENT: Not quite as bad as contemporary reviews would suggest, thanks to the very liberal use of some exciting stock footage.
The female lead is quite attractive too, though she makes a late entrance and is handed a comparatively small role.
The rest of the players are never less than sturdily competent, despite direction that rates rarely more than undistinguished.
The use of a narrator to tie in chunks of ancient travelogue footage is also something we could have done without.
Nonetheless, with a bit of judicious fast-forwarding, "Legion of the Doomed" will make a passable "B" for action fans.
