The Garment Jungle (1957)

Goofs

The Garment Jungle

Edit

Continuity

About half way through, when the truck drives forward into the alley past the union 'picketers' towards the elevator. After they kill Tulio the truck is inexplicably turned-around (without room in the alley to turn around) and drives forward out of the alley the same way it came in.
The baby that Robert Loggia is holding in the office and hallway of the Dress Union building is different when he enters another room. The first baby is younger with short blondish hair. The other baby is much bigger with longer, blackish hair.

Factual errors

The radio announcer announces news of an "alleged slaying." There would be reason to say "alleged" if it had not yet been determined whether the death was murder, but, as the man is found shot to death, and there is no way it could have been suicide, there is no reason to say this.

Character error

Ravidge refers to Tulio repeatedly as "Spick", which is a derogatory term for Hispanics, but Tulio is Italian. Obviously a case of misappropriated racism, i.e. someone too blinded by their own ignorance to know what the proper euphimistic slur should be applied.
