Obvious stunt doubles in the barroom fight scene between Brock Mitchell (John Derek) and Miley Sutton (John Smith).

When Miley Sutton (John Smith) is prevented from leaving the building after knocking down the banker, his right arm holding the gun is shown exposed to the elbow from inside the doorway, then the view switches to the same doorway from outside and only his hand holding the gun is visible.

At the end, the number of coins scattered around the dead Miley Sutton (John Smith) far exceed the small handful of coins in the bag that he originally took from Chad Deasy (Gage Clark) in payment for killing Tracy Mitchell (Nick Adams).

At the end of the film, John Smith's character's shirt is unbuttoned half way down. A few seconds later, it is buttoned up again. Finally, at the very end, his shirt is completely unbuttoned and pulled wide open, yet there's no reason for it that's depicted on screen.

Brock is described as a "hot dog." The slang usage of that term to describe a person as show-off was not coined until the Twentieth Century.
