Five expedition members (Connie, Varga, Steve, Hud and Dr. Erickson) set out at night with flares to search for the Yeti, but a couple of shots of the members out on the mountain show six persons in the group, not five. Also, in those shots, the members are tied to one another with rope, but in close-ups immediately following, none of them has any rope tied to them.
The characters are supposed to be in the Himilayas, but are dressed totally inappropriately. No gloves, stupid hats, and they smoke cigarettes at elevations where you would need oxygen to breathe.
The poster shows a scantily clad woman in the yeti's arms, the revealing summer hiking garb inappropriate for the Himalayas where the movie is set. Connie Hayward never wears anything so skimpy in the picture and is never picked up by the yeti.
