Great medieval history, based on true facts

The film well set, cities, exteriors, clothing, and culture. Often theatrical. The script of the movi well written. Also Excellent for the year of edition (1957). For her correct understanding, it must be understood that the reason for Catherine's mortification is the redemption (of her life and the Church). The supernatural is treated wel. There is a lot of certain historical data. Catharina as a peacemaker was a reality. The film can be understood as a contribution of the Italian people to its Patroness.
